It’s very easy to fall in love with a BMW 3-series. The car seems to manage to fit you like a glove, and a big part of this unique character of the car is feel. Well, of all the 3-series models, the BMW M340 Saloon lease is perhaps the one that gives you the most feel as well as some pretty good bang-for-buck.
In recent years, BMW has offered more “M” models that are not, technically classed as full-fat, high-performance “M” cars. It’s a little confusing, admittedly, but essentially what we have here is an “M-Performance” model that is best thought of as a faster, sportier version of a 3-series that hasn’t gone to the extremes of the M3 model.
This is a trend that seems to stem from Bavaria, home of BMW. Up the road in Ingolstadt, Audi employs the same strategy, offering “S” models that aren’t quite as aggressive as the “RS” models.
