This latest model brings fully electric power, new digital technology and BMW’s latest driver assistance systems to the range.
The BMW i5 Touring sits above models like the i4 and iX1, offering more interior space and comfort on long journeys. It also provides a more practical alternative to the i5 saloon thanks to its larger boot and estate body style. BMW i5 Touring leasing offers two fully electric powertrains, providing a choice between long-range efficiency and performance. The i5 eDrive40 uses a single rear-mounted electric motor that produces 340bhp, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 62mph in approximately 6.1 seconds. It is paired with an 81.2kWh usable battery and delivers up to 360 miles of electric range (WLTP).
At the top of the range, the BMW i5 M60 xDrive Touring adds a second electric motor and BMW’s xDrive all-wheel drive system. Power increases to 601bhp, allowing the performance model to accelerate from 0 to 62mph in just 3.9 seconds. Despite the additional performance, it still offers a competitive electric range of up to around 316 miles (WLTP).
The BMW i5 Touring builds on the familiar design of the 5 Series Touring while introducing styling elements unique to BMW’s latest electric models. At the front, it features a large kidney grille design with optional illumination, flanked by slim adaptive LED headlights that give the car a modern and distinctive appearance.
Sport Edition models feature 19-inch alloy wheels, adaptive LED headlights and high-gloss exterior trim. M Sport adds a more dynamic design with M aerodynamic body styling, larger wheels and sportier bumpers.
M Sport Pro builds on this with upgraded M Sport brakes, additional gloss black exterior detailing and larger alloy wheel options. At the top of the range, the M60 xDrive introduces unique M styling elements and performance-focused design details that reflect its increased power.
Inside, the BMW i5 Touring features a modern cabin centred around BMW’s Curved Display, combining a 12.3-inch digital driver display with a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system. High-quality materials, ambient lighting and a clean dashboard design create a premium and comfortable interior.
Sport Edition models include heated front seats, a leather steering wheel, dual-zone climate control and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. M Sport adds sport seats, M interior styling details and unique trim finishes for a more driver-focused feel.
M Sport Pro builds on this with upgraded interior trim, additional ambient lighting and further premium detailing. At the top of the range, the M60 xDrive introduces exclusive M interior elements and performance-inspired finishes.

Standard features include front collision warning with braking intervention, lane departure warning and cruise control with braking function.
