Accounts Assistant

The Accounts Assistant will join a growing team in our busy Finance Department.  You will report into and directly support the Management Accountant, with responsibility for data entry, payment processing and daily bank reconciliation and month end processes.  You will also manage debt collection and assist with the day-to-day administration of the Finance department, including reporting.  This is a fast-paced role in an ambitious and growing business.  All training provided.  This role will be office-based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.

Accounts Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Data entry including processing bank payments and receipts
  • Daily bank reconciliation
  • Administration / owner of Synergy Funding processes
  • Issue and control certain scheduled reports
  • Ensure customers pay on time and chase any overdue invoices liaising with our Client Services Team where required
  • Improve and implement debt collection processes when there are any overdue invoices or payments, and initiate legal proceedings if necessary
  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the Finance department, including filing and report generation

Accounts Assistant Requirements:

  • Excellent teamwork, organisation and communication skills
  • Analytical skills and an eye for detail
  • Familiarity with data entry
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise projects to meet tight deadlines
  • Experience using Excel and other accounting software – experience of Xero although not necessary is a distinct advantage
  • Ability to complete tasks while maintaining all confidentiality requirements

Trainee Sales Account Manager/Sales Account Manager

A fantastic opportunity to join the Synergy Car Leasing Team as a Trainee Sales Account Manager/Sales Account Manager. The online Business and Personal leasing market is growing at a time when other areas of automotive and finance sales are under pressure. Our Sales Team enjoy a busy environment managing all types of customers from private individuals to large organisations. Successful applicants will work with some of the best people in the industry, undertaking a full training programme. Due to the training and management support required, this role is office based from our Harrogate, North Yorkshire location.

Sales Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Undertake full sales development training programme
  • Achieve sales performance, compliance and customer-service related objectives
  • Manage customer relationships through our Customer Relationship Management System (CRM), communicating with prospects & customers whilst managing time efficiently
  • Work with and understand multiple finance systems, brands and products to achieve sales objectives whilst delivering a great customer experience
  • Work professionally and efficiently within our regulated process; undertaking compliance training, ensuring our customers are treated fairly, and our values of consistency and customer communication are met throughout all interactions
  • Be a flexible, reliable performance contributor within the sales team, striving to achieve the best outcomes for all

Sales Account Manager Requirements:

  • Organised and numerate with an eye for detail
  • Conscientious, industrious, and level-headed
  • Able to understand the importance of following set processes to comply with internal and external industry requirements
