The BMW i7 is powered by a 105.7 kWh total capacity battery and offers a choice of rear-wheel or all-wheel drive, depending on trim. The entry-level Excellence and Excellence Pro use a single motor producing 455bhp, while xDrive models add a second motor for a combined 544bhp. The M70 increases output to 660bhp, delivering 0–62mph in just 3.7 seconds.
All versions of the i7 offer near-silent power delivery, refined ride quality and strong real-world range. BMW’s adaptive air suspension and fifth-generation eDrive technology ensure comfort on long motorway journeys and responsiveness around town. The i7 supports DC fast charging up to 195kW, adding up to 106 miles of range in around 10 minutes using a compatible rapid charger.
The i7 combines the proportions of a luxury saloon with modern, high-impact styling. This includes BMW’s illuminated Iconic Glow kidney grille, slim LED headlights and flush-fitting door handles. M Sport and M70 models feature more aggressive bumpers and gloss black detailing, while all trims include soft-close doors and frameless windows.
The optional Sky Lounge panoramic glass roof adds ambient lighting through LED patterns embedded in the glass, and wheel sizes range from 19 to 21 inches depending on the trim. Every version of the i7 carries a strong presence, with a focus on aerodynamics, refinement and clean lines.
The i7’s interior is designed around comfort, space and advanced technology. A curved dual-screen layout combines a 12.3-inch driver display with a 14.9-inch infotainment screen, all controlled via BMW’s latest iDrive system. High-quality materials, ambient lighting and a minimalist layout give the cabin a calm, premium feel.
Rear passengers benefit from features like the optional Executive Lounge Seating with reclining leg rests, individual climate controls and touchscreen controls built into the rear doors.
