The No4 suits a wide range of drivers: company car drivers needing a full EV for daily business mileage, those wanting a plug-in hybrid that covers stop-start commutes on electric power and motorway miles on the petrol engine, or those who'd rather avoid plugging in altogether with the petrol mild hybrid.

Engine & performance
The DS No4 is offered with a choice of three powertrains: a petrol mild hybrid, a plug-in hybrid, and a fully electric E-TENSE version.
DS markets the entry powertrain as the No4 "Hybrid," though it's a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine paired with a small electric motor rather than a full self-charging hybrid, so it's better understood as a mild hybrid. It produces a combined 145bhp, CO2 emissions from 117g/km, and returns up to 54.3mpg combined.
The Plug-in Hybrid combines a 1.6-litre turbo petrol engine with an electric motor for a combined 240bhp, drawing on a 14.6kWh battery. It offers a WLTP electric-only range of up to 50 miles and CO2 emissions from as low as 51g/km, low enough to qualify for reduced Benefit-in-Kind rates.
The fully electric E-TENSE uses a 213bhp motor producing 345Nm of torque, reaching 0-62mph in 7.1 seconds. It offers a WLTP range of up to 279 miles and supports rapid charging from 20-80% in around 31 minutes.
Braked towing capacity stands at up to 1,310kg on the petrol mild hybrid and up to 1,300kg on the Plug-in Hybrid. The E-TENSE isn't rated for towing. A tow bar is available as an optional extra, and availability can vary by trim and current manufacturer ordering options.
Drivers considering the E-TENSE electric version may be eligible for the Electric Car Grant, which can reduce the overall cost of leasing.
Exterior features
The No4's front end features a new illuminated grille with an illuminated DS badge, alongside DS Matrix LED Vision headlights, which offer five driving modes including a motorway setting giving up to 280 metres of visibility at speeds over 68mph. Flush-fitting door handles sit within the car's sculpted body sides.
DS Performance Line trim adds satin gold detailing to the badge and rearview mirror cover, along with darker tinted rear windows and 19-inch alloy wheels. Optional extras across the range include a choice of cost-option paint finishes, a bi-tone black roof, and a selection of alternative alloy wheel designs depending on trim. A tow bar is available as an optional extra on the petrol mild hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid versions. Availability can vary by trim and current manufacturer ordering options.
Interior features
Inside, the No4 uses a 10-inch digital driver display alongside a 10-inch HD touchscreen, and a leather-finished steering wheel with paddles behind it. Ambient lighting features throughout the cabin as standard.
Upholstery ranges from Diamond Tungsten cloth with DS Canvas on Pallas and Pallas+, through Alcantara on Performance Line and Étoile, to Nappa leather with watchstrap stitching on Étoile Nappa. Optional extras include a heated steering wheel, available as part of an equipment pack on Étoile and fitted as standard on Étoile Nappa, and the FOCAL Electra Hi-Fi system with 14 speakers and 690 watts of power, which can be added for a more immersive in-car sound experience.
Safety features
The No4 was awarded a four-star Euro NCAP rating in 2022 under its previous DS 4 name, rising to five stars on the Étoile trim, which carries additional safety equipment as standard. Standard safety systems on the No4 include an Emergency Braking System with camera and radar detection, and Lane Keeping Assist to help the car stay within its lane. DS Performance Line and above add Blind Spot Detection and DS Drive Assist with Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
DS Drive Assist 2.0, which adds semi-automated lane changing and speed adaptation, is available as an optional extra on Étoile and Étoile Nappa as part of the Absolute Tech Pack.

Why Choose a DS No4 Lease with Synergy?
Synergy has achieved the Feefo Platinum Trusted Service Award 2026 and was named Broker of the Year at the Broker News Awards in both 2024 and 2025.
Every DS No4 lease includes support from a dedicated account manager, who acts as your consistent point of contact for the duration of your agreement. They'll help you weigh up the No4's three powertrains and five trims, address any questions on your contract, and keep you updated as your order progresses.
Optional maintenance can be added to your No4 lease to help cover servicing and routine upkeep across all three engine options.
Business Leasing
A DS No4 business lease suits companies running mixed fleets, since the range's low-emission plug-in hybrid and fully electric options carry reduced Benefit-in-Kind rates for company car drivers, while the petrol mild hybrid suits those covering higher mileage without home charging.
Fleet leasing with the DS No4 gives businesses a choice of powertrain to match different driver profiles and mileage patterns across a fleet. The No4 suits company car drivers, directors and fleet drivers who want a premium hatchback without committing to a single powertrain type across the fleet.
Personal Leasing
A DS No4 personal lease suits drivers who want flexibility across powertrains: the petrol mild hybrid for those without home charging, the plug-in hybrid for shorter commutes with occasional longer trips, or the E-TENSE for those wanting to move to electric motoring. Its Alcantara and Nappa leather interior options on higher trims give a No4 lease a cabin finish that stands apart from more mainstream family hatchbacks.
DS No4 Salary Sacrifice
DS No4 salary sacrifice may suit the Plug-in Hybrid and E-TENSE versions, since both fall below the 75g/km CO2 threshold. It's a tax-efficient way for eligible employees to drive a new car, provided their employer has a scheme in place.
