Range Rover Evoque trims include S, Hoxton Edition, and Autobiography:

- S: The entry point to the range, running on 18-inch Style 5074 wheels, LED headlights and grained leather upholstery. It comes with 12-way electric driver and 10-way electric passenger seats, a Digital Driver Display, and Land Rover's 3D Surround Camera and Cabin Air Purification Plus as standard, and it's available with any of the D165, D200, P160 or P270e engines.

- Hoxton Edition: Adds 20-inch Style 5089 wheels with Diamond Turned contrast, a Meridian Sound System, an Interactive Driver Display, a Head-up Display and Blind Spot Assist over S, along with Configurable Cabin Lighting and a powered tailgate. 

- Autobiography: Tops the range with 20-inch Gloss Dark Grey wheels, a sliding panoramic roof, a Meridian Surround Sound System and Windsor leather upholstery with contrast stitching, plus 14-way electric front seats with driver memory. It's offered with the D200 diesel or P270e Plug-in Hybrid engines only.

Engine & performance

The Range Rover Evoque is available with diesel, petrol or plug-in hybrid power, giving buyers a real choice depending on mileage and company car tax priorities. The diesel and petrol engines both use 48-volt mild hybrid technology, which assists the engine under acceleration and at low speeds to improve efficiency, rather than allowing any electric-only driving.

The D165 and D200 diesel mild hybrid variants share a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine, developing 161bhp and 201bhp respectively. 0-62mph takes 9.2 seconds in the D165 and 7.9 seconds in the D200, and combined WLTP economy reaches up to 44.6mpg. Both diesel engines can tow up to 2,000kg braked.

The P160 petrol mild hybrid variant uses a 1.5-litre three-cylinder engine producing 158bhp, reaching 0-62mph in 9.7 seconds. It's front-wheel drive only and isn't rated for towing.

The P270e Plug-in Hybrid variant combines a 1.5-litre three-cylinder petrol engine with an 80kW electric motor for a combined system output of 265bhp and 540Nm of torque, reaching 0-62mph in 6.8 seconds. Its 11.98kWh battery gives a WLTP electric range of up to 37 miles. A 7kW home wallbox recharges the battery from empty in around two hours and twelve minutes. WLTP CO2 emissions for the P270e run from 31-34g/km, and it can tow up to 1,600kg braked. All Evoque engines share the same 591-litre boot capacity, so the plug-in hybrid battery doesn't come at the cost of boot space.

Exterior features

All Evoque models get LED headlights, heated and power-folding door mirrors, and Land Rover's flush exterior door handles as standard, along with automatic headlights, LED tail lights and front and rear recovery eyes. Hoxton Edition steps up to 20-inch Style 5089 wheels with Diamond Turned contrast and LED headlights with a signature daytime running light design, while Autobiography adds a sliding panoramic roof, Pixel LED headlights and its own 20-inch Gloss Dark Grey wheel design.

Range Rover Evoque optional extras include cost-option paint finishes, 18 to 20-inch wheel choices, privacy glass and a Black Exterior Styling Pack. Available packs include Technology, Driver Assist, Comfort, Convenience, Efficiency and Towing. Accessories such as roof cross bars, a quilted loadspace liner and a dash cam are also available. Availability can vary by trim and current manufacturer ordering options.

Interior features

Every Evoque comes with grained leather upholstery, a Digital Driver Display and Land Rover's 11.4-inch Pivi Pro touchscreen as standard, along with heated front seats, two-zone climate control and a heated steering wheel. S trim seats are electrically adjustable, with 12-way memory for the driver and 10-way memory for the passenger.

Hoxton Edition adds a Meridian Sound System, an Interactive Driver Display, Configurable Cabin Lighting and a powered tailgate. Autobiography moves up to a Meridian Surround Sound System, Windsor leather with contrast stitching, a suedecloth headliner and 14-way electric front seats with driver memory. It's also the only trim with an electrically adjustable steering column and a ClearSight interior rear view mirror.

Every Evoque also comes with Cabin Air Purification Plus, which filters dust and microbes while monitoring cabin CO2 levels.

Interior optional extras for the Range Rover Evoque include a choice of grained leather colourways and a Shadow Grey Ash veneer finisher, available depending on trim.

Safety features

The Range Rover Evoque was awarded a five-star Euro NCAP rating in 2019, scoring 94% for adult occupant protection, 87% for child occupant protection, 72% for pedestrian protection and 73% for safety assist. That rating has since expired under Euro NCAP's newer testing protocols, so it no longer reflects an active current-year assessment, though the car hasn't been retested since.

Standard safety equipment across the range includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition and Adaptive Speed Limiter, and a 3D Surround Camera for manoeuvring. Hoxton Edition and Autobiography add Blind Spot Assist, a Rear Collision Monitor and a Rear Traffic Monitor, plus a Head-up Display on Hoxton Edition and above.
