Coming from a manufacturer best known for larger saloons, executive cars and full-size SUVs, the Lexus LBX stands out as a more compact expression of the brand, designed to appeal to a younger audience and drivers taking their first step into drivers considering their first hybrid SUV.
The LBX uses a 1.5-litre self-charging petrol hybrid system, making Lexus LBX leasing a strong option for drivers who want low running costs without needing to plug in. It gives the LBX one of its clearest leasing advantages: the convenience of petrol hybrid driving, paired with the refinement and comfort expected from Lexus.

- Premium: Adds heated front seats, Tahara upholstery, rear privacy glass, wireless phone charging, Blind Spot Monitor, Safe Exit Assist and ambient lighting.
- Premium Plus: Adds 18-inch alloy wheels, a power back door, 12.3-inch digital driver display, head-up display, smart entry and nanoe-X air purification. Selected versions add more design-focused styling.
- Takumi: Luxury-focused trim with semi-aniline leather, driver’s seat memory, Intelligent Park Assist, Advanced Safety Pack, Adaptive High-beam System and Mark Levinson audio. Takumi Design versions add bi-tone styling and upgraded interior materials.
- Vibrant Edition: Special edition trim with a sportier design focus, including bi-tone paintwork, dark exterior accents, 18-inch dark machined alloy wheels and distinctive interior trim details.
The Lexus LBX uses a 1.5-litre self-charging hybrid powertrain, combining a three-cylinder petrol engine with an electric motor and hybrid battery. Total system output is 136bhp.
Front-wheel drive is standard across most of the range, while Lexus E-Four all-wheel drive is available on selected Takumi and Takumi Design models. This adds a rear electric motor to improve traction when pulling away or driving in low-grip conditions.
Front-wheel drive models accelerate from 0-62mph in around 9.2 seconds, while E-Four all-wheel drive models take around 9.6 seconds. Official WLTP fuel economy is up to 63mpg, while CO2 emissions start from 102g/km depending on specification.
The Lexus LBX has a compact SUV shape, short overhangs and a distinctive Lexus front-end design. Slim LED headlights, sculpted bodywork and a full-width rear light design help give it a more premium look than many small crossovers.

Takumi models add semi-aniline leather upholstery, power driver’s seat adjustment with memory and a 13-speaker Mark Levinson premium sound system.
The LBX seats five, though it is best suited to commuters, couples, company car drivers and smaller families rather than those who regularly need the space of a larger SUV.
All Lexus LBX models include Lexus Safety System+, which brings together active safety and driver assistance features.
