Maxus eDeliver 3 Business & Commercial Leasing Offers
Maxus is a brand new commercial vehicle manufacturer here in the UK, having been formed out of the ashes of the LDV brand. Maxus’s owner, SAIC Corporation, is a Chinese giant behind MG and other brands, and the new eDeliver 3 is a small panel van. What makes it special is that it’s an electric van, spitting out no emissions whatsoever, and delivering a range that makes it far more competitive than other electric vans that have come before it. Exciting times.
The Maxus eDeliver 3 is the smaller of Maxus’s two current commercial vehicles, the other - the Maxus Deliver 9 - is a far larger and more versatile offering, coming in 8 different configurations. The eDeliver 3 is far more limited in terms of specification, with both models offering 4.8 cubic metres of load volume, a sliding door width of 710mm and a 2,910mm wheelbase.
The two models in question are separated only by battery size. There’s a 35kWh and a 52.5kWh eDeliver 3, with a difference in range and payload separating them. The 35kWh option offers a 141-mile maximum range and a payload of 865kg, while the 52.5kWh offers 213-miles of range and a payload of 945kg. There’s also a difference in charging times between the two models, with the lower battery option taking around 6 hours to charge at a wall point, and the larger capacity battery taking around 9. A high-power DC charger to around 80% capacity takes just 45 minutes, an impressive time and meaning businesses can restore most of their vehicle’s range in a lunch hour, providing the right charger is in play. In order to maximise the range, Maxus has utlised intelligent aerodynamic design and composite polymer materials.
Standard equipment is impressive on the Maxus eDeliver 3 too, with air conditioning, heated side mirrors, lane departure warning, high beam assistance and much more. There’s also driving modes and energy recover modes to help you manage your eDeliver 3’s power consumption more accurately or appropriately depending on its needs.
An exciting new zero-emission commercial vehicle, the Maxus eDeliver 3 is expected to be a popular vehicle here at Synergy.
