The MG4 is powered entirely by electric motors, with performance and range varying by model. The SE Standard Range uses a 125kW motor paired with a 51kWh battery, producing 170bhp and delivering a 0–62mph time of around 7.7 seconds. The SE Long Range and Trophy Long Range models increase battery capacity to 64kWh, with 203bhp and a similar 0–62mph time of approximately 7.9 seconds.
The Extended Range version introduces a larger 77kWh battery and 180kW motor, offering 245bhp and a faster 0–62mph time of 6.5 seconds.
At the top of the range, the XPOWER model features dual motors producing 435bhp and all-wheel drive. With a 0–62mph time of just 3.8 seconds, it delivers hot hatch-level performance while retaining the MG4’s practical five-door layout.
The MG4 has a bold, modern design. SE trims come with 17-inch alloy wheels and a clean, minimal look, while the Trophy and XPOWER models add more sporty detailing. These higher trims feature a two-tone roof, rear roof spoiler, privacy glass and contrasting accents for a more aggressive finish.
Practical touches like automatic LED headlights, rear parking sensors and electrically adjustable mirrors are fitted across the range, giving the MG4 everyday usability as well as style.
Inside the MG4, the cabin is clean and modern with a simple dashboard layout that focuses on functionality.
