Synergy supports Harrogate Town AFC’s grassroots football scheme
Harrogate-based Vehicle Leasing Broker, Synergy Car Leasing has partnered with Harrogate Town AFC to support and grow their successful Kick Back Scheme.
The Kick Back Scheme is a partnership scheme between Harrogate Town AFC and local Junior Football Clubs across the Harrogate District with the aim of connecting young local talent with their Football Club. Junior Club Partners benefit from complimentary match day tickets to every league fixture making matches at Harrogate Town AFC more accessible for young grassroots players to attend, and Junior Clubs can earn 20% cashback from any additional ticket sales sold through their partnership with us. This cash is given back to the Junior Clubs to reinvest in anything they need such as kit, transport or training equipment.
The scheme is completely free for clubs to join and in addition to match tickets, it is helping to form a natural pathway for local young talent to connect with a professional league club on their doorstep, as well as the opportunity to meet the players and staff.

The scheme was designed to support local Grassroots Clubs financially and to grow the number of first generation Supporters. Our aim is to support the clubs and the many dedicated people who are driving the Clubs week in week out. These wonderful people are passionate volunteers who work tirelessly both on the pitch with coaching and league games and off it with fundraising events to help finance the clubs. We are also focused on bringing local talent through from our partner clubs to Harrogate Town AFC and see them play for their Home Town at some point in the future.”
As part of the new partnership, Synergy Car Leasing have provided the club with an electric vehicle utilised by club staff travelling up and down the country on a regular basis.
Not only has this assisted the club logistically but helped hit their environmental goals and reduce their carbon footprint by lowering their emissions across thousands of miles travelled each year.
