Posted 4 years agoFor pure people moving potential, the 8-seater Peugeot Traveller is hard to beat.
There aren’t many machines short of a mini-bus that can offer space for up to 8 adults, but the Peugeot Traveller electric leasing deals do just that, making it an attractive proposition for Synergy customers with large families to cater for.
As you might be able to tell from the shape, the Peugeot Traveller electric lease deals are actually based on the firm’s ‘Expert’ panel van, though it is constructed on a platform designed with cars in mind. It shares almost identical DNA with the Citroen SpaceTourer and the Toyota ProAce so a choice between these 3 is really a choice of which badge you prefer.
Peugeot offers only diesel engines for the Traveller. In the base ‘Active’ model you can get a 1.5-litre 118bhp unit and this is where CO2 emissions come out the best at 126g/km, but it’s the larger, more potent 2.0-litre engines that are the most popular choices. They come with either 148 or 177bhp and are perhaps better suited to carrying larger loads or higher levels passengers more frequently thanks to that extra power. They also have the option of being equipped with an 8-speed automatic gearbox if you prefer your car to change gears when it sees fit. If not, as standard, all engines come with a 6-speed manual gearbox instead. Regardless of the engine and trim level you choose, 35mpg ought to be quite achievable, and CO2 emissions get no worse than 145g/km.
