SEAT Arona Business & Personal Car Leasing Offers
The Arona sits above the Ibiza hatchback and below the Ateca in SEAT's line-up, giving it the raised driving position and boxier profile of a small crossover without the footprint of a larger model. First introduced in 2017, the Arona received an update for the current model year that brought a new front-end design, a revised cabin and a broader technology range. It suits drivers who want a compact SUV for city driving, commuting or a straightforward company car, without the running costs of stepping up to a larger SUV.
The Arona has remained one of SEAT's most popular models since launch, helped by styling that gives it more road presence than most rivals in its class. Details such as the diamond-mesh grille and high-mounted fog lights set it apart from closely related models.

- SE Technology - Builds on SE with a 9.2-inch navigation touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charging and embossed AURORA textile front seats for a more tactile cabin finish.
- FR - Moves the Arona towards a sportier look while adding comfort equipment, including 17-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats, keyless entry and start, dual-zone climate control and smart driving and parking assistance.
- FR Sport - The range-topping trim, with 18-inch 'Performance' machined alloy wheels, sports bucket seats in NUANCE Grey cloth, mounting fixtures in the boot and a sport-tuned suspension setup.
Optional extras like metallic paint can vary by specification and current manufacturer ordering options, so it's worth checking availability for your preferred trim at the point of order.
Engine & performance
SEAT Arona leasing is available exclusively with petrol engines, all paired with front-wheel drive. The range opens with a 1.0-litre TSI producing 95bhp, offered only with a 5-speed manual gearbox. It's the most efficient option in the range, with SEAT quoting up to 45mpg, and a 0-62mph time of around 11.1 seconds.
The 1.0-litre TSI 115PS engine is likely to suit most SEAT Arona lease customers. It's available with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox, and manages 0-62mph in 9.9 seconds while returning up to 53.3mpg on the WLTP cycle, with CO2 emissions from around 119g/km depending on specification.
At the top of the range, the 1.5-litre TSI 150bhp engine is reserved for FR and FR Sport models and comes exclusively with the DSG automatic gearbox. It cuts the 0-62mph time to 8.3 seconds and has a top speed of 132mph, with fuel economy of around 45.6mpg.
Exterior features
The updated Arona offers a new front-end design, with a hexagonal grille outline and diamond-patterned mesh that brings it in line with the latest SEAT Ibiza. Slimmer Full LED headlights sit either side, offering close to double the low-beam brightness and triple the high-beam brightness of the previous design. High-mounted fog lights in the front bumper give the Arona a distinctive look next to closely related SUVs such as the Skoda Kamiq.
Alloy wheel sizes increase through the range, from 16-inch 'Design' wheels on SE models up to 18-inch 'Performance' machined wheels finished in Cosmo Grey on FR Sport. Drivers can choose from eight body colours, including Fiord Blue, Glacial White, Graphene Grey and Liminal Red.
Interior features
Inside, the Arona keeps a simple, driver-focused layout, with an 8.0-inch digital cockpit display fitted as standard across the range. SE models get an 8.25-inch touchscreen, while SE Technology and above upgrade to a 9.2-inch display with navigation and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Wireless phone charging is included on every trim above SE.
Cabin materials improve as you move up the range, from durable cloth on SE models to the embossed AURORA textile seats on SE Technology and the NUANCE Grey sports seats on FR Sport. The boot holds 400 litres with the rear seats up, rising to 1,280 litres with them folded flat.
Safety features
The SEAT Arona has a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating, achieved when the model was tested in 2022. Standard safety equipment across the range includes autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane keeping assistance, hill hold assist, traffic sign recognition and rear parking sensors.
Higher trims add further reassurance, with adaptive cruise control, high beam assist, front parking sensors and a rear-view camera available depending on specification. Blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert are also offered on selected models, making the Arona easier to manage in tight, urban environments. As with any driver assistance system, these features are designed to support rather than replace an attentive driver.

Looking for something similar?
- Volkswagen T-Cross: Built on the same platform and engines as the Arona, but with a bigger boot and a more conservative design. Worth considering if you want the same running costs with a plainer look.
- Skoda Kamiq: Another Volkswagen Group SUV, sharing the Arona's engines but with more rear legroom and a longer options list. A better fit if space is the priority over styling.
- Ford Puma: Similar size and price bracket, but with mild-hybrid engines and sharper handling. Suits drivers who want more engagement behind the wheel than the Arona offers.
