SKODA FABIA HATCHBACK CAR LEASING
The Skoda Fabia Hatchback is an instantly recognisable machine right the way across Europe, where over the last decade especially, the Czech supermini has become a much-loved mode of transport for just about anyone between the ages of 18 and 80.
It’s fair to say then that the Skoda Fabia Hatchback has really mastered the art of having universal appeal, but why is that? Well, for a start we can look at the price point. The Skoda Fabia Hatchback is priced in such a way that makes it tremendously difficult to resist. Here you have a practical, comfortable and stylish little supermini that often undercuts its rivals, but there’s much more to it than that.
For a start, the vast majority of the engineering underneath the Skoda Fabia’s body work comes from Volkswagen. Alongside the likes of Audi, Seat and even Lamborghini, Skoda is one of the companies that forms a part of the Volkswagen Group and the Skoda Fabia uses a lot of the parts you’d find in a more expensive Volkswagen Polo. Engines and gearboxes headline this ‘borrowed’ equipment, with the 3-cylinder 1.0-litre turbocharged ‘TSI’ engine the pick of the bunch. It comes with either 94 or 108bhp and you’ll get a 5-speed manual gearbox with the 94bhp output, or a 6-speed manual in the 108bhp version. If you’d rather have an automatic, that’s fine too, with the 108bhp version of this engine you can select a ‘DSG’ double-clutch transmission as an optional extra.
Driving wise, the Skoda Fabia Hatchback is light and easy-to-drive which feels very mature on UK roads. It’s comfortable over distance but also agile in the corners, making it a good all-rounder. There’s currently no performance ‘hot hatch’ version of the Skoda Fabia Hatchback – or any diesel options – but for most an efficient modern petrol engine does the job just fine. Out the back in the boot area, there’s also 330-litres of loading capacity, which is a really good amount for a car of this stature, and it can expand out to 1,150-litres if you don’t need the rear seats.
Despite its impressive pricing the Skoda Fabia Hatchback is not a cheap feeling car at all.The Skoda Fabia Hatchback S includes heated door mirrors, touchscreen display, Bluetooth and electric front windows. In addition to these features the Skoda Fabia Hatchback SE includes Smarklink+ and leather steering wheel. At ‘SE L’ trim level it comes with little luxuries like climate control and a touchscreen infotainment with navigation, smartphone connectivity and DAB radio. There’s also the usual range of Skoda’s ‘Simply Clever’ solutions that feature neat little ideas like umbrellas under the front seats and a height adjustable parcel shelf in the boot. The Skoda Fabia Hatchback Colour Edition also features cruise control and rear parking sensors, while the top-spec Skoda Fabia Hatchback Monte Carlo includes signature Monte Carlo logo and exterior styling.
Undeniably popular, the Skoda Fabia Hatchback is a great little car that appeals to just about anybody and on a Synergy lease agreement it’s never looked better value for money.
