Smart #5 leasing will be available in four well-equipped trims:
- Pro: Entry-level model with a 74kWh battery, rear-wheel drive, LED headlights, a digital driver display and touchscreen infotainment system.
- Pro Plus: Adds a larger 100kWh battery, extended range of up to 366 miles (WLTP), faster charging and upgraded interior tech.
- Pulse: Offers a sportier feel with revised styling, dynamic driving modes and extra driver assistance features.
- Premium: Introduces ambient lighting, enhanced driver aids and a panoramic glass roof.
- Brabus: High-performance trim with dual motors, all-wheel drive, up to 588bhp, 0–62mph in under 4 seconds, and more aggressive styling.
- Summit Edition: Described as the ‘truest’ version of the #5, includes rugged design elements, additional cladding and tech to help with off-roading.
Smart #5 leasing is available with a choice of rear-wheel or all-wheel drive depending on trim. Entry-level Pro models come with a 74kWh battery and a single motor setup, delivering up to 308 miles of range (WLTP). Pro Plus, Pulse and Premium trims upgrade to a larger 100kWh battery, offering an extended range of up to 366 miles (WLTP) and faster charging.
At the top of the range, the Brabus and Summit Edition trims introduce dual motors and all-wheel drive. The Brabus version produces up to 588bhp and can accelerate from 0–62mph in under four seconds, making it one of the quickest electric SUVs in its class. All models use the brand’s 800V architecture, allowing ultra-fast DC charging at speeds of up to 400kW on compatible charger networks.
The #5 couldn’t be further from the compact city cars the brand was once known for. This is a full-size electric SUV designed to appeal to a broader audience, combining functional design with modern styling. Smart has aimed to create a vehicle that looks practical and refined rather than flashy, while still standing out in a growing electric SUV market.
All models come with LED headlights, alloy wheels and roof rails as standard. Pro and Pro Plus trims feature a smooth, minimal look with integrated lighting and flush surfaces. Pulse and Premium add visual detail through gloss black trim, larger wheels and more colour options.
Brabus models are all about a sportier design with performance-inspired bumpers, exclusive alloys and contrasting trim. The Summit Edition is aimed at drivers looking for something more rugged, with added cladding, a roof rack system and specific exterior accents to support outdoor use.
Inside, all models come with a central touchscreen and digital driver display, while higher trims upgrade to larger screens, ambient lighting and premium interior materials. The cabin is spacious, with room for five adults and generous rear legroom.
Boot capacity is up to 582 litres, making it one of the most practical models in its class. Select trims include heated seats, panoramic sunroofs and enhanced audio systems for a more refined experience, while the layout remains clean and intuitive throughout the range.
Safety features include autonomous emergency braking, lane keeping assist, traffic sign recognition and driver attention monitoring. Higher trims add adaptive cruise control, 360-degree cameras, blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.
The car’s new platform also supports a high-strength body structure and multiple airbags throughout the cabin, helping it secure a 5-star safety rating by Euro NCAP.
