Vauxhall Frontera Business & Personal Car Leasing Offers
The Frontera name returned to the Vauxhall range in 2024, 20 years after the original 4x4 was discontinued. Today’s model is an SUV positioned between the smaller Vauxhall Mokka and larger Vauxhall Grandland. Its affordable pricing, roomy five-seat cabin and 460-litre boot make it particularly suitable for families and company car drivers.
A Vauxhall Frontera lease gives customers a choice between 48V petrol hybrid and fully electric power. Hybrid versions don't need plugging in and can also be specified with seven seats, while the Frontera Electric is available with two battery sizes and offers up to 254 miles of WLTP range.
- Body Type: SUV
- Fuel Type: Petrol hybrid or electric
- Electric Range: Up to 254 miles WLTP

Engine & Performance
The Vauxhall Frontera is available with 1.2-litre petrol hybrid or fully electric power. Hybrid models use a six-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, while both electric versions drive the front wheels through a single motor.
The Hybrid 110 combines a three-cylinder petrol engine with a 28hp electric motor integrated into the gearbox. It produces 110bhp and 205Nm, reaches 0-62mph in 11 seconds and returns up to 54.3mpg WLTP, while CO2 emissions start from 119g/km.
The Hybrid 145 increases output to 145bhp and 230Nm. It cuts the 0-62mph time to 9 seconds while returning up to 54.3mpg WLTP, with official CO2 emissions from 119g/km.
Frontera Electric uses a 113bhp motor and is offered with either a 44kWh or 54kWh battery. The standard-range model covers up to 190 miles WLTP, while the Extended Range version reaches up to 254 miles. Both support DC rapid charging at up to 100kW, with a 20-80% charge taking around 26 to 28 minutes.
Exterior Features
The Vauxhall Frontera uses the brand’s signature Vizor front end, framed by Intelli-LED headlights. Black front and rear skid plates add to its SUV styling.
Design models use 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, while GS and Ultimate versions add a contrasting black roof, black Vauxhall badging and silver-painted skid plates. Ultimate also includes gloss-black roof rails, while privacy glass is fitted to higher-spec models.
Six exterior colours are available: Carbon Black, Canyon Orange, Arctic White, Crystal Silver, Effect Blue and Khaki Green. Carbon Black is standard, while the remaining finishes cost extra. Design models can also be specified with a contrasting white roof through the Design Styling Pack.
Interior Features
The Vauxhall Frontera has a simple, spacious cabin built around two 10-inch displays, one for the digital instrument cluster and another for infotainment. Physical controls remain for frequently used functions such as heating and ventilation.
Five seats are standard, while selected Hybrid models can be configured with seven. In five-seat form, the Frontera provides 460 litres of boot space, increasing to up to 1,600 litres when the rear seats are folded.
Design models have fabric seat trim, while GS introduces Vauxhall’s Intelli-Seats, which use a pressure-relieving central channel in the front seat cushions. Ultimate adds heated front seats and a heated steering wheel, alongside further comfort features.
Safety Features
The Vauxhall Frontera includes a broad range of driver assistance systems as standard. These include automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane keep assist, driver attention warning, speed sign recognition, cruise control and hill start assist.
Design models also get rear parking sensors and a reversing camera. GS and Ultimate add front parking sensors and blind spot alert, giving extra support when parking or changing lanes.
Passenger protection includes front, side and curtain airbags, ISOFIX child-seat mounting points on the outer rear seats, anti-lock brakes, electronic brakeforce distribution and electronic stability control. Driver assistance systems are designed to support rather than replace an attentive driver.
Technology Overview
- 10-inch touchscreen: Controls infotainment, DAB radio and key vehicle functions, while selected versions also include integrated navigation.
- 10-inch digital driver display: Shows driving information such as speed, trip data, outside temperature and gearshift information directly ahead of the driver.
- Wireless smartphone connectivity: Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are supported wirelessly, allowing compatible apps, music and navigation to be accessed without a cable.
- Wireless phone charging: Available on selected versions, giving compatible smartphones a convenient cable-free charging point inside the cabin.
- Vauxhall Connect: Adds connected services and vehicle functions through Vauxhall’s digital platform, supporting features such as assistance services and connected navigation where fitted.

Business Leasing
A Vauxhall Frontera business lease can suit company car drivers, directors and employees who need SUV space without moving into a larger or more expensive model. The Hybrid is well suited to drivers covering mixed routes who cannot charge regularly, while the Electric is more relevant to those with access to home or workplace charging and businesses working towards lower-emission fleet policies.
The Frontera can also be included in a fleet leasing arrangement. Its three trim levels and two powertrain types give fleet managers scope to match different specifications to job roles, mileage patterns and company car requirements.
Personal Leasing
A Vauxhall Frontera personal lease is particularly well suited to families or those who need extra luggage space. Five seats and a 460-litre boot are standard, while selected Hybrid versions can accommodate seven people.
Fixed monthly rentals make it straightforward to budget for the car over an agreed term. You set your annual mileage, contract length and initial rental in advance, then return the Frontera when the agreement ends, subject to mileage and fair wear and tear conditions.
Vauxhall Frontera Salary Sacrifice
The fully electric Frontera can be considered for salary sacrifice. Its zero tailpipe emissions and SUV layout make it relevant to eligible employees looking for a family-sized electric company car through their workplace scheme.
Your employer must have a salary sacrifice scheme in place and you’ll need to meet its eligibility criteria. We can also support businesses introducing or managing a scheme for their employees.
