The new iX3 50 xDrive uses BMW’s sixth-generation eDrive system with dual electric motors, producing around 469bhp and 645Nm of torque. This all-wheel drive set-up delivers strong performance, with 0–62mph in approximately 4.9 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 130mph.
A 108kWh battery provides a driving range of up to 500 miles (WLTP), making the iX3 one of the longest-range electric SUVs ever. The 800-volt electrical system supports ultra-fast DC charging at up to 400kW, allowing more than 230 miles of range to be added in just 10 minutes under ideal conditions. Together, this combination of high output, long range and rapid charging gives the iX3 the ability to cover long distances with ease while delivering the smooth, instant power expected from a BMW.
This new iX3 introduces a cleaner, more aerodynamic design as part of BMW’s Neue Klasse family. Slim LED headlights with high-beam assistant and full LED rear lights come as standard, while higher trims add adaptive LED units for improved visibility.
Practicality is built in with an automatic tailgate and smart opener, roof rails and an intelligent charging flap, making day-to-day use straightforward. The overall design blends SUV practicality with the sleeker lines of BMW’s next-generation styling language, giving the iX3 a fresh yet familiar identity in the brand’s X range.
Inside, the new BMW iX3 features the latest Panoramic iDrive system with a 17.9-inch touchscreen and BMW Panoramic Vision, projecting key information across the windscreen in a clean, minimal layout.
Standard equipment includes heated electric front seats with memory, two-zone climate control with pre-conditioning and a wireless charging tray. The cabin is trimmed in sustainable Econeer materials for a premium, leather-free finish, while higher trims add Harman Kardon audio, a head-up display and extended ambient lighting.
