The BMW M4 was first introduced in 2014 as the performance-focused replacement for the BMW M3 Coupé. Built by BMW M—the brand’s motorsport division—the M4 delivers sharp handling and strong power. The latest generation launched in 2020, bringing a new design, power boost, and the option of xDrive all-wheel drive for the first time.

The M4 Coupe and Convertible share a six-cylinder turbo engine, producing 530bhp and 650Nm of torque. This setup delivers consistent performance across both body styles, with the Coupé reaching 62mph in 3.5 seconds and the Convertible in 3.7 seconds.
Paired with BMW’s M xDrive and an 8-speed M Steptronic transmission, it delivers strong acceleration and smooth gearshifts.
The BMW M4 features an aggressive design with a wide front grille, and flared wheel arches. Coupe models come with a fixed roof, while Convertible versions feature an electric soft top that opens or closes in just 18 seconds.
All models are fitted with M-specific styling details, including aerodynamic body kits, side skirts, and twin tailpipes. 18-inch alloys come as standard, but the Competition trim upgrades these to 19-inch. Optional extras include BMW Laserlight headlights and a selection of metallic and matte paint colours that are unique to the M range.
Inside, the dashboard is built with high-quality materials, including Merino leather and carbon-fibre trims on selected models. The BMW Curved Display brings together a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch touchscreen, offering clear visuals and easy access to driving and infotainment features.
M Sport seats come as standard. The M4 Competition models also feature heated seats and optional M Carbon bucket seats. Dual-zone climate control and ambient lighting are included across the range. Boot space in the Coupé is 440 litres, while the Convertible offers up to 385 litres with the roof up.
BMW M4 leasing comes with a strong set of standard safety and driver assistance features. This includes front collision warning with automatic braking, lane departure warning, and speed limit information.
Parking is made easier with front and rear sensors and a reversing camera. For those who do longer trips or spend time in traffic, the optional Driving Assistant Professional package adds adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assistance, and traffic jam assist.
