Geely EX2 Business & Personal Car Leasing Offers
The Geely EX2 registered close to half a million sales in China in 2025, making it the country's best-selling car that year and one of the most proven electric hatchbacks Geely has brought to any market. It arrives in the UK as Geely Auto UK's third model, positioned below the EX5 and Starray as the brand's smallest and most affordable electric car. Driven by a single rear-mounted motor rather than the front-wheel layout most rivals use, the EX2 went on sale in the UK in August 2026.
The EX2 lands in one of the most competitive corners of the new car market. Geely has leaned on interior space and standard equipment to compete, rather than outright range or driving character. A 70-litre front boot supplements the 375-litre rear boot, and every EX2 comes with a 14.6-inch touchscreen, electric front seats and a full suite of driver assistance systems as standard from entry-level Pro upwards.
For business customers, that combination of low running costs and generous specification makes the EX2 a straightforward option for company car drivers and user-chooser fleets who want to reduce Benefit-in-Kind costs without compromising on space. Personal customers get the same value and equipment in a car that's easy to park and manoeuvre around town, well suited as a first electric car or a straightforward second car for the family.

Key Specifications
Geely EX2 trims include Pro, Max and Ultra:
- Pro: Entry point to the range and comes on 16-inch alloy wheels, with a 35kWh battery and 60kW motor fitted as standard, giving up to 156 miles of WLTP range and DC fast charging at up to 60kW. The 14.6-inch touchscreen runs Geely's Flyme Auto system, along with a four-speaker audio system and LED automatic headlights with high beam assist.
- Max: Steps up to a larger 47kWh battery and more powerful 85kW motor, extending WLTP range to up to 214 miles and raising DC fast-charging speed to 80kW. Every other feature carries over from Pro unchanged.
- Ultra: Tops the range with metal side skirts and two-tone paint for a more distinctive look, alongside 256-colour ambient lighting and a 360-degree camera with transparent chassis view. It adds wireless phone charging and a heated steering wheel and front seats, and upgrades the standard four-speaker system to a six-speaker audio setup.
A range of factory options are available on the EX2. These include an optional white interior trim on Ultra models, a bonnet stripe accessory offered in three designs, each available in black or white, and a 28-litre storage box that fits under the rear seats for extra luggage space. The EX2 is offered in six exterior colours, including Moon White, Comet Grey, Star Silver, Nebula Beige, Aurora Green and Jupiter Pink. Availability can vary by trim and current manufacturer ordering options.
Engine & Performance
The Geely EX2 uses a single rear-mounted electric motor across the range, paired with one of two battery sizes depending on trim. The entry-level Pro combines a 35kWh battery with a 60kW motor, giving 0-62mph in 14.2 seconds and a WLTP range of up to 156 miles. Max and Ultra step up to a larger 47kWh battery and an 85kW motor, cutting the 0-62mph time to 11.5 seconds and extending WLTP range to up to 214 miles.
DC rapid charging reaches up to 60kW on Pro and 80kW on Max and Ultra, enough for a 30-80% top-up in around 25 minutes on either battery. A 6.6kW onboard charger is fitted as standard across the range for AC charging. The EX2 also supports vehicle-to-load, letting the battery power external equipment such as camping gear or power tools.
Exterior Features
The EX2's front end uses Geely's "smiling face" design language. Feather-inspired headlights are integrated into a smooth fascia, and semi-concealed door handles run along the doors. All three trims sit on 16-inch alloy wheels, and Ultra adds two-tone paintwork and metal side skirts for a more distinctive look. Six paint colours are available: Moon White, Comet Grey, Star Silver, Nebula Beige, Aurora Green, and Jupiter Pink. A bonnet stripe accessory, offered in three designs in black or white, is also available for further personalisation. Availability can vary by trim and current manufacturer ordering options.
Interior Features
Inside, a waterfall-inspired dashboard and wraparound cabin design are finished with a dual-tone microfibre leather steering wheel and comfort-focused sofa-style seating. Every trim gets synthetic leather upholstery and electrically adjustable front seats as standard. Ultra adds heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and wireless phone charging, alongside 256-colour ambient lighting.
Storage includes a 70-litre front boot, a 10-litre passenger-seat drawer, and a 375-litre rear boot that expands to 1,320 litres with the seats folded. A 28-litre underseat storage box is available as an accessory. The cabin is built around a 14.6-inch touchscreen running Geely's Flyme Auto system, alongside an 8.8-inch digital driver display. A four-speaker audio system is standard on Pro and Max, upgraded to six speakers on Ultra.
Safety Features
The Geely EX2 earned a five-star Euro NCAP rating in 2026, tested under the organisation's newest and most demanding assessment protocol, with its strongest results coming in crash protection and post-crash safety. The battery itself is built from CATL lithium iron phosphate cells in a liquid-cooled housing, protected by 18 temperature sensors and a high-strength steel underbody shield, alongside a mesh aluminium-alloy frame designed to help distribute impact forces away from the cabin.
Every EX2 comes with seven airbags as standard, alongside a full suite of driver assistance systems including adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane keeping assist, blind spot detection, rear cross-traffic alert and a driver monitoring system. Rear parking sensors and a reversing camera are standard across the range, with a 360-degree camera featuring a transparent chassis view added on Ultra.

Business Leasing
An Geely EX2 business lease suits company car drivers and smaller fleets who want to move into electric motoring without a large upfront commitment. As a fully electric model, it qualifies for a lower Benefit-in-Kind rate than any petrol or diesel equivalent, a genuine saving for drivers choosing it as their company car.
For fleet leasing, the EX2 gives businesses a compact, efficient hatchback well suited to pool cars or user-chooser schemes where low running costs matter more than outright range.
Personal Leasing
A Geely EX2 personal lease is a low-cost way into electric driving, without committing to buying a car outright. It suits first-time EV drivers, city commuters, and anyone after a straightforward, well-equipped second car.
Your monthly payments stay fixed for the length of your agreement, and at the end of it you simply hand the car back, subject to the agreed mileage and our fair wear and tear guide. Geely EX2 lease offers can be tailored around your annual mileage, contract length and initial rental.
Geely EX2 Salary Sacrifice
As a fully electric model, the Geely EX2 may be a suitable choice for salary sacrifice, a tax-efficient way for eligible employees to drive a new car through payments taken from gross salary before tax and National Insurance.
This isn't available to everyone automatically. Your employer needs a scheme already in place, and you'll need to meet their eligibility criteria to take part. Synergy can help businesses set up or manage a salary sacrifice scheme, including where the EX2 might fit in the rest of a company fleet.

Similar models to our Geely EX2 lease deals include:
- Renault 5: The UK's best-selling electric car, built around nostalgic styling that's become a genuine design icon. The EX2 takes a different approach: a distinctive "smiling face" design paired with a sharper focus on interior space and value. Prices start from £22,995, a few hundred pounds above the EX2 Pro, suiting drivers happy to pay more for design pedigree and badge appeal.
- BYD Dolphin Surf: BYD's electric models overtook Tesla to become the UK's best-selling all-electric range in 2026, and the Dolphin Surf is the EX2's closest rival on price at £18,650. Its 308-litre boot is smaller than the EX2's, but it remains a genuinely efficient choice for drivers who prioritise low running costs above everything else.
- Cupra Raval: Built on the Volkswagen Group's new MEB+ platform, the Raval is a sportier, more premium alternative to the EX2, with a genuine hot-hatch VZ variant at the top of its range. Prices start from £23,785, higher than both the EX2 and Renault 5, and it suits drivers who want driving enjoyment as much as everyday electric practicality.
