JAECOO 5 leasing is available in two trims:
- Pure: The entry-level trim features 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights, a 6-speaker SONY audio system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
- Luxury: Top trim adds an 8-speaker SONY sound system, dual-zone climate control, cooled wireless phone charging, ambient lighting, heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats, and a panoramic sunroof.

The petrol model is powered by a 1.6-litre turbocharged engine producing 147bhp and 275Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Front-wheel drive comes as standard, with selectable driving modes including Eco, Normal and Sport to suit different conditions.
The all-electric JAECOO E5 features a 61kWh battery and 155kW motor, delivering around 204bhp and a driving range of up to 248 miles (WLTP). It accelerates from 0–62mph in approximately 7.5 seconds, while fast-charging capability makes it easy to top up on longer journeys. Together, these options give drivers the choice between proven petrol power and the benefits of zero-emission driving.
The JAECOO 5 is designed to make an impression, with its bold “waterfall” grille, upright stance, and sleek SUV proportions. LED headlights are standard, with automatic activation on Pure models and enhanced lighting on Luxury. The Luxury trim also adds a large tilt-and-slide panoramic sunroof, bringing light and space into the cabin. Roof rails and a wide-opening tailgate complete the look, combining rugged style with everyday practicality.
Inside, the JAECOO 5 combines a spacious five-seat layout with a high-tech, driver-focused cabin. A 13.2-inch central touchscreen and digital instrument display come as standard, alongside wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There are over 35 storage compartments throughout the cabin, making it as practical as it is modern.
The Pure trim includes cloth upholstery and manual seat adjustment, while Luxury models upgrade to heated and ventilated front seats with power adjustment, ambient lighting, and a cooled wireless charging pad. Both versions include a premium SONY sound system, with the Luxury trim offering an enhanced 8-speaker setup.
