- X-Dynamic SE: Builds on S with 20-inch alloy wheels, a black contrast roof, Resist upholstery and 12-way heated electric memory front seats, giving the Defender a more distinctive specification.
- X-Dynamic HSE: Adds Matrix LED headlights, Windsor leather, a sliding panoramic roof and Meridian Surround Sound System, plus 14-way heated and cooled electric memory front seats.

Engine & Performance
The Land Rover Defender is available with petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid powertrains, depending on the body style and trim. All versions use an eight-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive.
Diesel models use a 3.0-litre six-cylinder mild-hybrid engine. The D250 produces 250bhp and 570Nm of torque, while the D350 increases output to 350bhp and 700Nm. On the Defender 110, combined WLTP fuel economy reaches up to 33.4mpg, depending on version and seating configuration.
Petrol options include the P425 V8, which produces 425hp and 550Nm. In the Defender 110 it reaches 0-60mph in 5.5 seconds and can tow up to 3,500kg. At the top of the range, Defender OCTA uses a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 producing 635bhp and 750Nm, cutting the 0-60mph time to 3.8 seconds.
The Defender 110 P300e plug-in hybrid combines petrol and electric power to produce 300bhp. Its 19.2kWh battery provides up to 32 miles of WLTP electric range, while 40kW DC charging can take the battery from 0-80% in around 30 minutes. It reaches 0-60mph in 7.4 seconds and can tow up to 3,000kg.
Exterior Features
The current Land Rover Defender keeps the boxy profile that make it easy to recognise. LED headlights with signature daytime running lights, darkened rear lights and front fog lights are fitted across much of the range.
Wheel sizes vary by trim and body style. Defender S starts with 19-inch Style 6010 alloys, while X-Dynamic SE moves to 20-inch wheels. Higher specifications add larger designs, including 22-inch alloys on selected X models, while Trophy Edition uses 20-inch Gloss Black wheels with all-terrain tyres.
Trim-specific details give each version a different look. X models add a black contrast bonnet and orange brake calipers, while OCTA gets extended front and rear bumpers, yellow brake calipers and a Gloss Black tailgate spoiler. Defender 130 Outbound uses 20-inch Gloss Black wheels and has its own exterior treatment.
A wide range of exterior colours, contrast roofs, wheel designs and accessories can be specified, depending on trim and body style. Optional equipment can include roof-mounted carrying systems, side-mounted gear carriers, towing equipment and protection accessories. Availability varies by current Land Rover options.
Interior Features
Inside, the Defender combines durable materials and rubber flooring with a high driving position and plenty of storage. Seating varies by body style, from up to six seats in the Defender 90 to eight in the Defender 130.
A 13.1-inch Pivi Pro touchscreen is fitted across the range, alongside wireless device charging and a Meridian sound system. Depending on trim, upgrades include Windsor or semi-aniline leather, configurable cabin lighting, three-zone climate control and heated and cooled electric front seats.
The Defender 130 provides the most passenger space, including a third row for up to three people. Outbound versions replace the third row with additional load space and lockable underfloor storage.
Safety Features
The Land Rover Defender’s standard safety systems include emergency braking, lane keep assist, driver condition monitoring, traffic sign recognition and speed assistance.
Blind spot assist, rear traffic monitor and clear exit monitor are available on selected versions, while a 3D surround camera helps when parking or manoeuvring off-road. Adaptive cruise control is also fitted to higher-specification models.
ISOFIX mounting points are provided for compatible child seats, while seatbelt reminders cover the front and rear seats. Euro NCAP also confirmed that the Defender’s emergency braking system can detect other vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists.

The Defender’s towing and off-road capabilities may also appeal to businesses whose drivers regularly travel beyond paved roads.
The Defender can also be included within a fleet leasing arrangement. Its choice of body sizes, seating configurations and powertrains gives businesses several options for company car, director and user-chooser fleets.
Personal Leasing
A Land Rover Defender personal lease provides fixed monthly rentals over an agreed contract term and annual mileage. You return the car at the end of the agreement, subject to the agreed mileage and fair wear and tear standards.
For private customers, the choice between the Defender 90, 110 and 130 means you can select the size that suits how you plan to use the car. There are options for drivers wanting a compact three-door Defender, additional family space or seating for up to eight.
