The MG4 Urban is part of the refreshed line-up, introduced as part of a model update in response to competition from brands like BYD, Chery and Geely.
While it shares a name with the MG4, the Urban is a separate model under the skin. It’s slightly bigger overall and positioned as a more accessible entry point into the MG electric range. With low running costs, a practical hatchback body and zero tailpipe emissions, the MG4 Urban is well suited to both business and personal leasing customers.

MG4 Urban leasing is available in two trims:
- Comfort: Features 16-inch alloy wheels, black and grey fabric upholstery and a 12.8-inch HD infotainment screen. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay come as standard, along with a reversing camera for added convenience.
- Premium: Adds 17-inch alloy wheels, a heated steering wheel and heated front seats. It also includes an electrically adjustable six-way driver’s seat, wireless phone charging and a 360-degree parking camera system.
Our MG4 Urban lease deals are available with two battery options, giving drivers a choice between Standard Range and Long Range performance. The Standard Range model uses a 43kWh battery paired with a rear-mounted motor producing 149bhp, delivering up to 201 miles (WLTP) and a 0 to 62mph time of around 9.6 seconds.
The Long Range version features a larger 54kWh battery with 160bhp, extending range to up to 258 miles (WLTP). Both versions are rear-wheel drive and support AC home charging via a 7kW wallbox, as well as DC rapid charging for quicker top-ups.
The MG4 Urban features a sharp, modern design with distinctive LED daytime running lights. Comfort models sit on 16-inch alloy wheels, while Premium versions upgrade to 17-inch alloys. A rear roof spoiler and contrasting trim details add a sporty feel, and practical touches like electrically adjustable door mirrors and a reversing camera help with everyday usability.
Inside, the MG4 Urban offers a clean and practical cabin layout designed around everyday usability. All versions feature a 12.8-inch HD infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a 7-inch digital driver information display.
Comfort models include black and grey fabric upholstery, a multifunction steering wheel and keyless entry. Premium models add heated front seats, a heated steering wheel and wireless mobile phone charging.
The MG4 Urban includes MG Pilot driver assistance systems as standard across the range. Features include adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition and automatic emergency braking.
