Engine & performance

The MGS6 EV uses MG’s Modular Scalable Platform, designed to balance range and performance. Both the SE Long Range and Trophy Long Range versions use a single electric motor driving the rear wheels, producing around 244bhp and a WLTP range of up to 329 miles. The top‑spec Trophy Dual Motor adds a second motor and all‑wheel drive. With around 361bhp and 540Nm of torque, it can sprint from 0–62mph in around 5.1 seconds while still maintaining a credible WLTP range of up to 301 miles.

All versions support rapid charging at up to 144kW, allowing a 10–80% charge in around 38 minutes on a compatible public charger. The instant torque and power delivery typical of electric SUVs make the MGS6 EV feel responsive.

Exterior features

The MGS6 EV has a modern design, with a wide front grille and slim LED headlights. All versions come with 19-inch alloy wheels, roof rails and a full-width LED rear light bar. Trophy models add gloss black trim detailing and a panoramic sunroof. A range of solid and metallic paint finishes are available, including signature colours exclusive to the Trophy trims.

Interior features

Inside, you’ll find a tech-focused cabin with high levels of standard equipment. A large 12.8-inch central touchscreen dominates the dashboard, supported by a 10.25-inch digital driver display. Soft-touch materials and a floating centre console help lift the feel of the cabin, especially in Trophy models.
