MINI ACEMAN BUSINESS & PERSONAL CAR LEASING OFFERS

Mini recorded its highest-ever global battery-electric sales in 2025, with electric models accounting for over a third of everything the brand sold worldwide: the Aceman is one of three fully electric models now carrying that growth in the UK, alongside the Cooper Electric and the larger Countryman Electric.

The Aceman arrived in the UK in November 2024, sharing its electric motor and battery architecture with the Cooper Electric. It is Mini's first model sold exclusively as a battery-electric crossover, without a petrol version in the range. It went on to record a five-star Euro NCAP rating in 2025, matching the score achieved by the Cooper 3-door and the rest of the current Mini family.

The Aceman brings five doors and around 90 litres more boot space than the electric Cooper, without stepping up to the larger Countryman. Combined with Mini's three-year unlimited-mileage warranty, that gives company car drivers a premium, stylish EV on a Mini Aceman business lease. It also gives personal customers a five-door Mini alternative to the Cooper on a Mini Aceman personal lease.

- Body Type: SUV

- Fuel Type: Electric

- Electric Range: Up to 252 miles (WLTP)

- Number of Seats: 5

- Boot Size: 300 litres

Key Specifications

Mini Aceman leasing includes four trims: Classic, Monochrome, Exclusive, and Sport.

- Classic: Entry-level with LED lights, roof rails, 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control, sat-nav and a 9.4-inch circular OLED display as standard.

- Monochrome: A black-or-white styling edition that adds privacy glass, darkened upholstery and the Level 1 equipment pack as standard, including heated front seats, a head-up display and wireless phone charging.

- Exclusive: Adds a silver front grille, a wider choice of paint colours and interior trims, and a choice of three 18-inch alloy wheel designs.

- Sport: Tops the range with JCW-inspired styling, including a gloss black grille, red-and-black bonnet stripes, a contrasting red roof and a rear spoiler.

Colour choices includes British Racing Green, Rebel Red and Blazing Blue alongside more understated options such as Nanuq White and Midnight Black. Beyond trim level, buyers can step up to the Level 2 pack for a panoramic glass roof and Harman Kardon sound system, or the Level 3 pack for electric front seats with memory and massage function, an interior camera and augmented reality navigation. Genuine Mini accessories also extend to a roof box, a bicycle roof carrier and all-weather floor mats. Availability can vary based on current manufacturer ordering options.

Engine & Performance

The Aceman uses a single electric motor driving the front wheels through a single-speed automatic transmission, available in three outputs across the range. The entry-level Aceman E uses a 42.5kWh battery paired with a 135kW (184bhp) motor and 290Nm of torque, while the Aceman SE steps up to a larger 54.2kWh battery (49.2kWh usable) paired with a 160kW (218bhp) motor and 330Nm of torque. Topping the range, the John Cooper Works Aceman also uses the 54.2kWh battery, paired with a 190kW (258hp) motor and 350Nm of torque, plus a boost function that briefly increases output via a paddle behind the steering wheel.

Aceman E reaches 0-62mph in 7.9 seconds and offers up to 192 miles of WLTP range. Aceman SE cuts that to 7.1 seconds and extends range to up to 252 miles. The John Cooper Works Aceman is the quickest of the three at 6.4 seconds, though its focus on performance reduces WLTP range to up to 243 miles. Rapid DC charging from 10-80% takes around 30 minutes on Aceman SE and John Cooper Works Aceman, both using a 95kW charger; Aceman E charges at a lower rate, so the same 10-80% charge takes a little longer.

Exterior Features

At the front, angular LED headlights frame an octagonal grille finished in Vibrant Silver or high-gloss Jet Black depending on trim, and the daytime running lights can be set to one of three light signatures. The overall shape borrows from both the Cooper and Countryman, so the Aceman still reads as a Mini despite being a crossover.

At 4,079mm long, the Aceman is noticeably smaller than an electric rival like the Cupra Born, sitting between the three-door Cooper Electric and the larger Countryman within Mini's own range. Classic rides on 17-inch alloy wheels made partly from recycled aluminium, while Exclusive and Sport step up to 18-inch alloys; Exclusive alone offers a choice of three designs. A factory-fit tow bar is available as an optional extra, though the Aceman's front-wheel-drive layout caps braked towing capacity at 750kg, and availability can vary based on current manufacturer ordering options.

Interior Features

Every Aceman comes with a 9.4-inch circular OLED display that combines the instrument cluster and infotainment system, operated through a toggle bar beneath the screen for volume, drive mode and gear selection. A heated Vescin steering wheel, wireless smartphone integration and Mini's Intelligent Personal Assistant come as standard, and Mini Experience Modes let drivers switch the cabin lighting, sound and display themes to suit their mood.

Classic uses cloth upholstery in a limited range of colours, while Exclusive brings in Vescin sport seats and a knitted dashboard trim made from recycled fabric, both offered in a wider choice of colours. Sport adds gloss black interior trim and unique stitching to match its exterior styling. Heated front seats, a head-up display and wireless phone charging come as standard from Monochrome upwards as part of the Level 1 equipment pack, while Level 3 adds electric front seats with memory and massage function.

Storage includes a flat load floor, 60:40 split-folding rear seats, and a channel running from the dashboard to the rear armrest, which includes a wireless charging tray. The boot holds 300 litres with the rear seats up, rising to 1,005 litres when folded flat, and there's no additional storage under the bonnet.

Safety Features

The Aceman holds a five-star Euro NCAP rating, awarded in 2025 and matched across the current Mini range. It scored 83% for adult occupant protection, 87% for child occupant protection, 77% for vulnerable road user protection, and 79% for safety assist systems. Those results apply equally to the Aceman E, Aceman SE and John Cooper Works Aceman. Automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assistant, blind spot detection, rear collision prevention, and vehicle exit warning are fitted as standard on every trim as part of Mini's Driving Assistant pack. An optional Driving Assistant Plus pack adds adaptive cruise control.

Technology Overview

- 4-inch circular OLED display running Mini Operating System, with customisable widgets and a swipe-up "toolbelt" for favourite functions

- Mini Intelligent Personal Assistant, activated by saying "Hey Mini", for navigation, calls, climate control and vehicle information

- Head-up display, standard on Aceman SE and John Cooper Works Aceman

- Augmented reality navigation, available on Exclusive and Sport through the Mini Navigation Plus pack

- Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

- Mini App for remote locking, charge status, climate pre-conditioning and vehicle location

- Cloud-based Mini Navigation with live traffic data and automatic charging-stop planning on longer journeys

Business Leasing

A Mini Aceman business lease suits company car drivers who want a premium, stylish EV with low Benefit-in-Kind rates. Its five-door layout and larger boot than the Cooper Electric make it a practical choice for drivers who need more space day to day, and Mini's three-year, unlimited-mileage warranty adds reassurance over a typical contract term. Fleet leasing with the Aceman gives businesses a distinctive, zero-emission crossover with strong Benefit-in-Kind credentials.

Personal Leasing

A Mini Aceman personal lease is a straightforward way to drive a new electric crossover without buying it outright. It suits drivers who want the Cooper Electric's character with the extra practicality of five doors, as well as those stepping into electric motoring for the first time without committing to a larger, pricier SUV. Fixed monthly payments give you certainty over the cost of your lease throughout the agreement.

Mini Aceman lease offers can be built around your annual mileage, contract length and initial rental, giving you a clear monthly cost for the duration of your agreement.

Mini Aceman Salary Sacrifice

As a fully electric model, the Mini Aceman may be suitable for salary sacrifice, letting eligible employees lease a new car through their gross salary and reduce their Income Tax and National Insurance contributions. This is only available where an employer already has a scheme in place, and employees will need to meet their employer's eligibility criteria to take part. If your business is looking to introduce or manage a salary sacrifice scheme, Synergy's team can help.
