Skoda’s new Enyaq SUV hasn’t been around for long, we first saw it back in September 2020 when it was revealed to the world at a glitzy event in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. The Czech Republic is Skoda’s home, and the company has a huge presence in the nation, recently reaching out and dominating Europe’s car scene with killer new models of the Fabia and Octavia, and it’s widely expected that the Enyaq SUV will also become a big hit in its segment around Europe too.
The Enyaq SUV has been designed with families in mind, and practicality is always chief of concern when it comes to a Skoda product. Inside there’s tons of usable space for family matters, head room, knee room, boot room, toy room - it’s all there. Practical touches are present also for the driver, with front and rear parking sensors and a rear view camera helping to make reversing into the driveway a little easier.
You’re probably also wondering about the maximum potential range, the Enyaq SUV is of course an electric car only after all. Well, Skoda impresses there too, offering a whopping 339-mile maximum range according to the latest WLTP testing procedures, that’s among the biggest ranges currently offered with electric vehicles. Top speeds are limited to just 99mph in order to try and boost that range as much as possible, and power outputs are also modest, 177 to 261bhp outputs are offered, but that instantaneous torque offered by an electric motor still make the Enyaq SUV accelerate very briskly for a machine weighing around 2 tonnes.
