Skoda Epiq Business & Personal Car Leasing Offers
Sitting below the Elroq and Enyaq in Skoda's electric line-up, the Epiq is built as a compact city SUV rather than a family-sized alternative. It became available to order in July 2026, built on the Volkswagen Group's MEB+ platform as Skoda's first front-wheel-drive electric model. The Epiq suits drivers making their first move into electric motoring, particularly those covering shorter urban and suburban journeys.
The Epiq is the entry point to fully electric driving within the Skoda brand, positioned in the same tier as the Kamiq, which plays a similar role amongst the Czech manufacturer's petrol lineup. Its compact dimensions are paired with a boot that outsizes several rivals, while Edition and First Edition trims step up with extra convenience and safety technology, including an app-based digital key for keyless entry and driver assistance that takes over during emergency and traffic jam situations. The Skoda Epiq qualifies for the Electric Car Grant, helping to bring down the cost of leasing an entry-level electric SUV.

- Edition: Adds heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, satellite navigation, a rear-view camera, keyless entry via mobile digital key, and bidirectional charging, letting the car's battery power external devices when needed.
- First Edition: A launch-specific special edition built on Edition specification. It adds 20-inch Macaw alloy wheels, a black roof, Navajo Orange exterior accents, a sports steering wheel with recuperation paddles, and dedicated First Edition badging.
Engine & Performance
The Skoda Epiq is only available as front-wheel drive. It's powered by the same 52kWh usable battery and single front-mounted electric motor across every trim, producing 208bhp and 290Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0-60mph in 6.9 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 99mph.
WLTP electric range stands at up to 272 miles on SE L, dropping slightly to 270 miles on Edition and First Edition. DC rapid charging reaches up to 105kW, taking the battery from 10-80% in around 24 minutes. A Mode 3 charging cable is supplied as standard for AC charging.
Braked towing capacity is rated at up to 1,200kg, and unbraked capacity stands at 750kg. Maximum nose weight is 75kg. The Epiq also offers full one-pedal driving via a selectable "B" mode, which applies stronger regenerative braking than standard drive mode, letting the car slow and stop without the brake pedal. Regeneration intensity within "B" mode is switchable to suit the driver's preference.
Exterior Features
The Skoda Epiq's exterior is built around Skoda's "Modern Solid" design language. A glossy black "Tech-Deck Face" replaces the traditional grille, housing the front camera and radar sensors used by the car's driver assistance systems. T-shaped LED headlights and rear lights mark the Epiq out at both ends, and black roof rails and a rear spoiler come as standard from SE L upwards.
Six exterior paint colours are available. Marble Grey is a no-cost solid finish, alongside Timiano Green as the second solid option. Platinum White, Pebble Silver, and Mystery Black are offered as metallic optional extras, and Jasper Red sits at the top of the range as an exclusive optional extra.
First Edition adds its own black roof and Navajo Orange accents across the mirror caps, window trim, and bumper surrounds, plus exclusive 20-inch Macaw alloy wheels. SE L and Edition come with 18-inch Plover and 18-inch Saola alloy wheels respectively as standard, with the alternative design available as an optional extra on either trim. A 19-inch Lark alloy wheel option is also available exclusively on Edition.
Skoda Epiq optional extras include the Light & View Package on Edition trim, which adds full LED matrix beam headlights, dynamic headlight range control, a cornering light function, and animated rear indicators. A panoramic sunroof and an electrically retractable tow bar are also available as optional extras on Edition trim. Availability can vary based on current manufacturer ordering options.
Interior Features
The Skoda Epiq interior follows the same "Modern Solid" design philosophy as the exterior, built around a 13-inch touchscreen and a 5.3-inch digital cockpit. Wireless smartphone integration comes as standard throughout the range, running through Skoda's Android by Harman infotainment system.
Loft Grey is the standard interior Design Selection on SE L and Edition. It uses fabric and Techtona, Skoda's synthetic leather alternative, finished in grey stitching. Loft Mint is offered as an optional extra on Edition, swapping in mint-coloured fabric and green stitching. First Edition moves to its own bespoke interior, featuring orange stitching across the steering wheel, seats, and dashboard, orange seatbelts, and a black headlining.
Boot space stands at 475 litres with the rear seats in place, rising to 1,345 litres when they're folded flat. Skoda's "Simply Clever" touches continue inside the cabin: a variable boot floor helps keep luggage secure, an umbrella storage compartment is built into the driver's door, and rear cupholders are fitted as standard from SE L upwards. Edition trim adds a wireless phone charging pad and a glasses compartment.
Safety Features
The Skoda Epiq has not yet been tested by Euro NCAP, so no safety rating is currently available. Every trim comes with Front Assist, which uses automatic emergency braking to help avoid collisions with vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists. Lane Assist, Blind Spot Detection, Turn Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, and Predictive Adaptive Cruise Control with traffic jam assist are also standard on SE L.
Edition and First Edition trims add Lane Keeping System Plus, which brings semi-automatic vehicle control in emergency braking and traffic jam situations, plus Crew Protect Assist. Seven airbags come as standard across the range, including a centre airbag between the front seats. As with any driver assistance system, these features are designed to support an attentive driver rather than replace one.
The Epiq also includes Isofix and Top Tether child seat anchorage points on the outer rear seats and the front passenger seat, Trailer Stability Assist to help keep the car and trailer stable when towing, and XDS+, an electronic system that simulates a self-locking differential to improve grip and stability through corners. Flashing brake lights activate automatically under hard braking to warn following traffic.

Business Leasing
A Skoda Epiq business lease suits company car drivers, directors, and fleet drivers who want a compact, low-cost electric SUV for city and suburban routes. As a fully electric model, the Epiq sits in the lowest Benefit-in-Kind band available, at 4% for the 2026/27 tax year, which can make it a tax-efficient choice for business leasing customers.
Fleet leasing with the Epiq gives businesses an affordable entry point into electric motoring for drivers who mainly cover shorter journeys, without the running costs associated with a larger SUV.
Personal Leasing
A Skoda Epiq personal lease suits drivers making their first move into electric motoring, particularly those covering shorter city and suburban journeys where the Epiq's WLTP range of 272 miles should comfortably manage a week's worth of driving. Its 475-litre boot gives it more boot space than several rivals in the same class, and it includes an array of helpful ADAS systems as standard.
Skoda Epiq Salary Sacrifice
As a fully electric model, the Skoda Epiq may be suitable for salary sacrifice schemes. This can be a tax-efficient way for eligible employees to drive a new Epiq, though the employer must have a scheme in place and the employee must meet eligibility criteria. Synergy can support businesses introducing or managing salary sacrifice options for their teams.

Looking for something similar?
- Renault 4 E-Tech: A retro-styled electric rival with a WLTP range of up to 249 miles. It suits drivers who want a similar everyday EV proposition with a more distinctive, character-led design.
- Kia EV2: A compact SUV rival offering a longer WLTP range of up to 281 miles on its larger battery. It's a good alternative for drivers who prioritise maximum range over the Epiq's Skoda badge and platform-sharing pedigree.
- Cupra Raval: Built on the same MEB+ platform as the Epiq, but in a sportier hatchback body rather than an SUV. It suits drivers who want the same underpinnings with a lower, more dynamic driving position.
