VOLKSWAGEN TRANSPORTER VAN LEASING
The VW Transporter is the world’s most popular commercial vehicle and the star of Volkswagen LCV fleet.
At home here in the UK, there’s no contesting the fact that the Ford Transit is the King, but across Europe and the rest of the world the story is different. The VW Transporter on lease is the world’s most popular van, over 12 million of them have been sold since it was introduced way back in 1950.
The current lease Transporter is the 6th generation (T6) of the famous van and is very much the modern Volkswagen with its handsome but subtle VW family face and shared technology from the rest of the group range. Actually, as vans go the Transporter is considered pretty hip, being a popular vehicle for extreme sports enthusiasts such as surfers and mountain bikers, as well as Synergy’s business customers.
In terms of dimensions, the T6 Transporter comes with a choice of 2 wheelbases and 3 roof heights, allowing for space that accommodates up to 3 euro pallets. The load floor comes with a choice of different coverings including a rubber mat that can be removed, washed and replaced as well as fastening points and lighting to help with ease of loading and an electric tailgate can even be specified.
Power traditionally comes from the 2.0-litre ‘TDI’ range of turbo diesel engines Volkswagen is famous for. Outputs range from around 100bhp to 208bhp and all engines come with a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard. The top-level ‘BiTDI’ 208bhp unit features a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox and Volkswagen gives customers the option of ‘4MOTION’ all-wheel drive on certain models – useful if you live in very cold or rural regions. In recent years Volkswagen has started to offer a 2.0-litre ‘TSI’ petrol engine as an alternative to diesel in its Transporter range, with power outputs set at 148 or 208bhp. Both engines should get around 30mpg.
The VW Transporter van leasing is full of technology; automatic climate control, Bluetooth, DAB, smartphone connectivity, navigation, autonomous emergency braking, automatic lights, parking sensors, heated seats and a heated windscreen can be found across the Transporter range, with upper-tier models feeling pretty close to a Volkswagen passenger vehicle.
The enduring popularity of the VW Transporter lease deals says all you need to know about the Volkswagen Transporter. Finance is available for high-mileage heavy users and also for standard business users, and we also offer maintenance packages. So why not lease a VW Transporter?
