The BYD Seal 6 is available in two trim levels:
- Boost: Entry-level trim with 17-inch alloy wheels, a 12.8-inch rotating touchscreen, synthetic leather upholstery, adaptive cruise control and rear parking sensors.
- Comfort: Upgrades to a larger 15.6-inch screen, 360-degree camera, panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated seats, and a larger 19 kWh battery for up to 65 miles of electric range.
BYD Seal 6 leasing uses a plug-in hybrid system that pairs a 1.5-litre petrol engine with an electric motor and automatic e-CVT gearbox. It’s front-wheel drive as standard and focuses on smooth, efficient performance for everyday driving.
The entry-level Boost trim uses a 10kWh battery and has up to 34 miles of electric-only range (WLTP). Comforts model upgrade to a larger 19kWh battery, increasing the electric range to 65 miles and lowering CO₂ emissions to just 34g/km. With a combined output of around 215bhp, both versions offer responsive acceleration. It’s a practical option for drivers who want low running costs, strong fuel economy and reduced Benefit-in-Kind tax.
The Seal 6 has a smart, streamlined design that sets it apart from more traditional plug-in hybrids. All models come with LED headlights, flush door handles and a wide front grille that reflects BYD’s latest design language. The saloon version has a low, coupe-style roofline, while the Touring is all about practicality.
Boost models come with 17-inch alloy wheels and body-coloured trim, while Comfort versions add 18-inch alloys, chrome detailing and a panoramic sunroof. Silver roof rails are standard on Touring versions, and both body styles feature rear LED light bars and sculpted bumpers.
Inside, it feels modern and well equipped, with a clear focus on tech and comfort. Both trims come with synthetic leather upholstery, a rotating central touchscreen, and a digital driver display. Boost models feature a 12.8-inch screen, while Comfort versions upgrade to a larger 15.6-inch unit.
