FORD MONDEO CAR LEASING
Since 1993, the Ford Mondeo has been a trusted choice of car for everything from business to family life.
When the Ford Mondeo first turned up in 1993, there was a lot of pressure on Ford. Around that time, the American firm hadn’t been getting the rave reviews for its products that it does today, and a dedicated team of engineers and designers were determined to make sure the new Mondeo impressed everybody. With 25 years passed since that project was completed, we can look back now and say they hit it out of the park.
Over 5-million Ford Mondeo’s have been sold across Europe since its introduction, a milestone most manufacturers can only dream of. It has evolved over time to feature more technology, safety and performance and has remained popular, despite the rise in popularity of SUVs affecting many sales in this segment, which is reflected in Ford Mondeo leasing.
There’s quite a bit of choice on offer with the latest Ford Mondeo lease. For a start, there’s 3 ‘EcoBoost’ petrol engines – the multi award-winning 3-cylinder 1.0-litre, a new 1.5-litre and the most powerful engine available in a Ford Mondeo, a 2.0-litre 237bhp unit. Synergy customers who need to cover high miles may prefer to look at the diesel options amongst the Ford Mondeo lease deals; a 1.5-litre ‘TDCi’ and a 2.0-litre that is available at three different power outputs, the highest being Ford’s biturbo diesel which gives you over 200bhp. Manual gearboxes come as standard but there is also Ford’s ‘Powershift’ automatic to select as an option if you prefer to sit back and relax a bit more.
It should also be noted that the current generation of Ford Mondeo is also available as a hybrid, though not a plug-in. It can’t run on pure electric power alone, but the hybrid does cut CO2 emissions and improve efficiency, making it a great option for as a Ford Mondeo personal lease
Inside, the cabin is a spacious and comfortable environment with plenty of room for people of all shapes and sizes and decent sized boot spaces in both the saloon and estate models. With the seats folded down in the estate, load space is an impressive 1,605-litres. Ford’s SYNC3 touchscreen infotainment system sits proudly in the centre of the dash, and standard equipment levels are high, particularly from mid-spec ‘Titanium’ trim and upwards. For a dash of extra luxury, Ford also offers the Mondeo in ‘Vignale’ trim – Ford’s luxury sub-brand.
