Ford S-Max Business & Personal Car Leasing Offers
S-Max – the Ford Galaxy’s stylish sibling which retains 7-seat capability in a sleeker overall shape.
It’s not that common to find a manufacturer that offers more than one 7-seat MPV, but Ford does, and this is the American firm’s attempt to make a 7-seater for people who like to drive. The Ford S-Max lease in reality isn’t all that different to the Galaxy – Ford’s other 7-seater MPV with which it shares the same underpinnings and suspension – but it does have a far more eye-catching design.
The power sources remain the same for Ford S-Max leasing as they do for the Galaxy. There’s the choice of one diesel and two petrol engines, the diesel coming in 4 separate states of tune – 119bhp, 148bhp, 178bhp and a bi-turbo version topping the range off at 207bhp. The diesel engine is a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder and is the more popular engine choice by quite some distance for both the Ford S Max car lease and the Galaxy car lease, due to its strong pulling potential that helps move around these heavier cars (and their contents) with greater ease. If diesel really isn’t for you then your petrol choices are between a 148bhp 1.5-litre Ecoboost or the far more powerful 237bhp 2.0-litre version, with the latter only being available with Ford’s ‘Powershift’ automatic transmission. All engines come with a 6-speed manual as standard, while you can spec all-wheel drive on some models too, so there’s plenty of choice when you come to lease a Ford S Max.
Trim levels are where things start to get a little different with the Ford S-Max lease deals, as on top of ‘Zetec’ and ‘Titanium’ trims that are offered with the Galaxy, there is ‘ST-Line’ and ‘Vignale’ trims on top. ‘ST-Line’ is the sportier option which adds further dynamic styling to the Ford S Max leasing deals, whereas ‘Vignale’ is Ford’s luxury line, so the lease S Max receives improved materials and design with a focus on luxury and comfort over sportiness. Across the range you’ll find one or all of the following – SYNC3 touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, rear privacy glass, LED running lights, automatic headlights and windscreen wipers, keyless entry, lane-keep assist, traffic sign recognition and a cruise control system with an active speed limiter. Bluetooth, DAB, push-button start and climate control all come as standard. We have both Ford S Max personal lease and business lease deals available.
This is the family car for those who enjoy driving and don’t necessarily want to advertise the fact they need a car that has 7-seats. Ultimately though, between the Galaxy and S-Max, it’s all down to personal taste, but isn’t it nice to have that option?
