Tesla Model 3 Business & Personal Car Leasing Offers

Sitting below the Model Y in Tesla’s UK range, the Tesla Model 3 is a sleek electric saloon that first became available in the UK in 2019. A major 2024 update helped keep it competitive, bringing a cleaner exterior design, revised suspension, upgraded materials, and a more advanced cabin. It suits company car drivers, salary sacrifice users, business fleets, and personal customers who want an electric saloon focused on range, charging access, performance, and digital-first in-car controls.

The main appeal of the Model 3 is tied to how it refined Tesla’s range, performance, and charging advantages into a smaller, more attainable saloon than the Model S. Its popularity has been driven by long-distance usability, quick acceleration, regular software updates, and a minimalist cabin centred around an easy to use touchscreen. It also benefits from Tesla’s Supercharger network, which can make longer journeys easier to plan.

- Body Type: Saloon
- Fuel Type: Electric
- Electric Range: Up to 466 miles WLTP

Key Specifications

Tesla Model 3 trims include Standard, Premium, and Performance:

- Standard: The entry point to the Tesla Model 3 range. It uses rear-wheel drive and includes the core Tesla experience, including strong electric range, digital cabin technology, and 0g/km CO2 emissions.

- Premium: The next step up, adding more comfort, range, and interior technology. It is available in rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, depending on the version selected.

- Performance: The top trim in the range. It uses dual-motor all-wheel drive and focuses on the quickest acceleration, sharper driving feel, and more distinctive performance styling.

Engine & performance

The Tesla Model 3 is fully electric, with battery size and motor setup varying by version. Estimated battery capacity starts at around 64kWh for the Standard model, while Premium and Performance versions use a larger battery of around 82kWh.

The rear-wheel drive Standard model offers up to 332 miles of range (WLTP) and can reach 0-60mph in 6.2 seconds. Premium Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive is the range-focused version, achieving up to 466 miles (WLTP). Premium Long Range All-Wheel Drive adds a second motor for more traction to reduce the 0-60mph time to 4.2 seconds, while Performance uses the quickest dual-motor setup and cuts that time to 2.9 seconds.

Charging performance depends on the model. The Rear-Wheel Drive version supports up to 175kW Supercharging and can add up to 168 miles in 15 minutes. Premium and Performance models support up to 250kW Supercharging, although the Performance adds up to 147 miles in 15 minutes due to its higher output setup.

Exterior features

The refreshed Tesla Model 3 has a cleaner front-end design, slimmer lighting, improved aerodynamics, and a smoother overall profile than the earlier version. The update also introduced redesigned front and rear styling, plus changes intended to reduce drag and wind noise.

Wheel choice depends on the model. Rear-Wheel Drive uses 18-inch wheels, Premium versions are available on 18-inch or 19-inch wheels, and Performance models use 20-inch Warp Wheels.

Relevant optional extras can include paint choices, wheel upgrades on selected versions, and Tesla accessories such as a Wall Connector, Mobile Connector, all-weather liners, roof rack, glass roof sunshade, and rear trunk liner. Availability and pricing may vary by model and current Tesla ordering options.

Interior features

Inside, the Tesla Model 3 uses a minimalist cabin layout built around a large central touchscreen. Rear-Wheel Drive models feature a 15.4-inch centre touchscreen, while Premium and Performance versions also include an 8-inch rear touchscreen for second-row passengers.

The flat cabin floor helps rear passenger space, and storage is a key advantage. Tesla lists cargo capacity at 682 litres, while independent reviews highlight the combination of rear boot space and front storage under the bonnet.

Depending on version, the Model 3 can include features such as heated and ventilated front seats, wireless charging, premium audio, and upgraded interior finishes. Some items vary by trim, so it is worth checking the exact specification before choosing your Tesla Model 3 lease deal.

Safety features

The Tesla Model 3 received a five-star Euro NCAP rating in 2025, scoring 90% for adult occupant protection, 93% for child occupant protection, 89% for vulnerable road users, and 87% for safety assist. Euro NCAP also named it Best in Class for 2025.

Safety technology includes autonomous emergency braking, lane support, speed assistance, seatbelt reminders, driver monitoring, advanced eCall, and multi-collision braking. Tesla’s camera-based driver assistance systems also support features such as Autopilot, although Tesla states these systems require an attentive driver and do not make the car autonomous.

Technology Overview

The Tesla Model 3 technology overview includes:

- 15.4-inch central touchscreen for navigation, media, climate settings, vehicle functions, and charging information.

- Minimal physical controls, with most key settings managed through the main display.

- 8-inch rear touchscreen on Premium and Performance versions for second-row passengers.

- Over-the-air software updates to add, refine, or improve vehicle functions over time.

- Standard Autopilot driver assistance technology.

- Optional Enhanced Autopilot or Full Self-Driving Capability, subject to availability, regulations, and driver supervision.

- Connected software for route planning, charging information, vehicle settings, and digital services.

Why Choose a Tesla Model 3 Lease with Synergy?

Optional maintenance can also be added to your Tesla Model 3 lease to help cover servicing and routine maintenance.

Business Leasing

A Tesla Model 3 business lease is well suited to company car drivers, directors, and organisations moving towards lower-emission vehicles. Its 0g/km CO2 emissions can make it attractive for businesses reviewing Benefit-in-Kind costs, electric fleet policies, and long-distance driver requirements.

For fleet leasing, the Model 3 gives businesses a recognisable electric saloon for drivers who need strong range, low emissions, and a technology-led cabin.

Personal Leasing

A Tesla Model 3 personal lease can suit drivers who want a new electric car without owning the vehicle outright. Fixed monthly rentals help make budgeting clearer, and you return the car at the end of the agreement, subject to mileage and fair wear and tear conditions.

The Model 3 is particularly relevant for personal customers who want a long-range EV, access to Tesla’s charging network, and a technology-led cabin. Rear-Wheel Drive versions keep the range accessible, while Premium and Performance models add more range, performance, and equipment.

Tesla Model 3 Salary Sacrifice

The Tesla Model 3 is eligible for salary sacrifice schemes, which can be a tax-efficient way for employees to move into a fully electric car, provided their employer has a scheme in place and they meet the eligibility criteria.

Salary sacrifice can be especially relevant for drivers comparing a Tesla Model 3 lease against a traditional company car or car allowance route. Synergy can support businesses looking to introduce electric salary sacrifice options as part of a wider employee benefits or fleet strategy.
