The Volvo XC60 range includes mild-hybrid petrol and plug-in hybrid powertrains. The B5 mild-hybrid uses a 2.0-litre petrol engine with 48-volt support, producing 250bhp and 350Nm of torque. Recharge plug-in hybrid versions include the T6 with 350bhp and the T8 with 455bhp. Both pair a 2.0-litre petrol engine with an electric motor and 18.8kWh battery, offering up to 47 miles of electric range (WLTP). All models feature an 8-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive as standard.
The XC60 features Volvo’s signature design with a bold grille, Thor’s Hammer LED headlights and sculpted body lines. Alloy wheels are available from 18 to 21 inches depending on trim, while roof rails and privacy glass add extra style. Higher trims add full LED pixel headlights, chrome detailing, and panoramic roof options.
Inside, the XC60 seats five with premium materials across the range. Standard features include a 9-inch central touchscreen, digital driver display, dual-zone climate control, and textile or leather upholstery. Higher trims add leather-free options, powered and ventilated front seats, four-zone climate control, and premium audio from Harman Kardon or Bowers & Wilkins. Boot capacity is 483 litres, rising to 1,410 litres with the seats folded.
The XC60 comes with Volvo’s IntelliSafe driver assistance systems as standard. These include Pilot Assist with Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Aid, Collision Avoidance with automatic emergency braking, and Run-off Road Mitigation. Additional features available on higher trims include a 360-degree parking camera, Blind Spot Information System (BLIS), and Cross Traffic Alert with automatic braking.
