The Abarth 500e is the long-awaited performance version of the stylish Fiat 500e. It’s faster, louder and is all about the driving experience.
Abarth produce a range of charismatic performance cars, and the 500e is no exception. It’s compact size, attractive pricing and all-electric powertrain make this little hatchback great for urban driving, especially in areas with low-emission zones.
There are two trim levels to choose from: Standard and Turismo
The 500e has one battery option, a 42.2kWh unit producing 155bhp. This gives it a 0 to 62 mph of 7 seconds and a competitive electric range of up to 157 miles. This will be more than enough for commuting or urban driving, with DC charging replenishing the battery from 10% to 80% in just 35 minutes.
Inside the 500e you’ll find a premium interior which balances performance and convenience. The standard car comes with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which makes every day driving hassle-free. Other features include a JBL Hi-Fi premium sound system, LED daytime running lights and a three spokes vinyl black sports steering wheel.
One of the most interesting features of the 500e is the Abarth sound generator. This consists of speakers underneath the car which imitate the sound of a petrol engine.
Because this is a performance car, the 500e has an impressive range of safety features. These include a drowsy driver detection system, intelligent speed assist, as well as Autonomous Emergency Brake (AEB) & Vulnerable Road User (VRU) Protection.
