Engine & Performance
The entry-level Terramar is powered by a 1.5-litre engine producing 150bhp, offering a smooth and efficient drive that's well-suited to everyday use. For those wanting more power, the V1 trim is also available with a 2.0-litre petrol engine delivering 204bhp.
For drivers looking to lower running costs or drive on electric power, there are two plug-in hybrid options. The 204bhp version is available in the V1 and V2 trims, while the more powerful 272bhp version features in the VZ1 and above. Both use a 19.7kWh battery and can drive up to 74 miles in electric mode, making them ideal for commuting and low-emission zones.
At the top of the range is a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine with 265bhp and CUPRA’s 4Drive all-wheel drive system. This setup offers sharper performance and better traction, especially in varied driving conditions.
Exterior Features
The Cupra Terramar has a strong, sporty look that helps it stand out on the road. Its wide shape, sharp lines and low stance give it a confident feel. LED headlights and taillights come as standard, with brighter Matrix LED lights on higher trims. The sportier VZ models get different bumpers and extra details to match their more powerful engines.
Wheel sizes range from 18 inches on the V1 to 20 inches on the VZ2. The America’s Cup Edition adds special grey paint, black badges, and unique trim details that make it look different from the rest of the range. Copper accents and roof rails finish off the design, giving the car a clean and modern look.
Interior Features
Inside the Terramar, you’ll find a modern and well-laid-out cabin with a sporty feel. All versions come with a 12.9-inch touchscreen and a digital driver display that’s easy to us. On the V1, they’re cloth with copper stitching, while higher trims get heated bucket seats finished in suede or leather.
Upgrading to the V2 trim adds heated bucket seats, with electric adjustment and memory settings for the driver. The VZ1 adds extra details like copper interior highlights and unique trim inserts. The top-spec VZ2 goes further with burgundy leather seats and a premium Sennheiser sound system for a more luxurious feel.
There’s good space for passengers in the front and back, and the boot is a good size for day-to-day needs. Thoughtful storage, ambient lighting, and a flat-bottomed steering wheel add to the Terramar’s sporty and practical layout.
Safety Features
The Cupra Terramar comes with a wide range of safety equipment as standard to help protect both driver and passengers. All models include front and rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, lane assist, and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection.
As you move up the range, the safety features improve. The V2 trim adds a 360-degree camera, blind spot detection, and park assist, making it easier to drive and park in busy areas. Higher trims also include extra driving aids like traffic sign recognition and emergency assist.
