MERCEDES-BENZ GLC CAR LEASING
Merc’s popular compact SUV borrows much from the Stuttgart-based firm’s best-selling car – the C-Class saloon.
Officially, the Mercedes GLC arrived with us in 2015, but Mercedes actually began making the ‘compact’ SUV back in 2006, so the GLC can trace its DNA back the full 12 years. 2015 saw the new GLC appear along with a new name – with that GLC essentially meaning ‘C-Class SUV’ – as Mercedes sought to end confusion by implementing a new naming strategy.
Here in the Synergy office, the GLC lease deals are one of our most enquired about cars as well as being one of our best-selling models. That tells us two things here at the office – firstly, people love the luxury and sense of occasion Mercedes-Benz brings to its cars, and secondly, that customers can have that Mercedes experience in an SUV platform is something that really appeals to them. Based on popularity, this can definitely be said for our Mercedes GLC leasing deals for the UK.
You can expect to find much that you’d see in the C Class saloon within the GLC. The exterior shape is a lot different, but the interior is mostly identical along with the engines and equipment too. Space and practicality levels are increased in the GLC, as is off-road capability, though it’s unlikely our customers will be taking their GLC’s too far off the road. However, fields, rutted tracks, and bad weather conditions should be easily conquered by the GLC, and you never know when that might prove to be useful – especially up here in Yorkshire!
As with all SUVs and off-road orientated vehicles, we tend to find diesel power proves the most popular choice and there’s good reasons for that. The extra torque diesel provides helps with any low-grip surfaces and the economy figures from a heavier, larger car are often much better. Here at Synergy you can get a Mercedes GLC lease deal with a range of engines though, from the standard diesel power units and even some petrol engines, to the monsters of the GLC range that have been tuned by Mercedes own high-performance division – AMG. Naturally, a big V8 petrol engine isn’t as practical as the efficient and smooth running 2.1-litre diesels, but it is quite a lot more fun.
Despite being defined as a ‘compact’ SUV, the Mercedes-Benz GLC is a very spacious car with excellent driving characteristics that will leave drivers and passengers very happy indeed. Available with a whole host of features and modern technology such as air suspension, advanced driving assistance tools, and state-of-the-art safety features, the Mercedes GLC personal lease deals continue to be some of our most popular here at Synergy. We’ve a feeling that it will be for quite some time yet.
