It’s part of MG’s strategy to offer more advanced, higher-specification electric vehicles alongside its existing budget-friendly range. It’s positioned to rival established premium EVs, offering impressive tech, sharp styling and a sophisticated interior.
Larger and more refined than the MG4 or MG ZS EV, the IM6 brings a new level of comfort and driving capability to the MG line-up while remaining competitively priced against rivals like Tesla and BYD.

Our MG IM6 leasing deals include three trims:

The Long-Range model features a single rear-mounted electric motor producing 408bhp. It’s powered by a 100 kWh battery and delivers up to 388 miles of range (WLTP). Acceleration from 0–62 mph takes approximately 5.4 seconds.
The Performance and Launch Edition trims introduce a second motor, creating an all-wheel drive setup with a combined output of 752bhp. These variants cut the 0–62 mph time to just 3.5 seconds and offer a range of around 313 miles. The Launch Edition also includes air suspension and adaptive damping for a more composed ride at higher speeds.
The MG IM6 has a bold, modern design that reflects its premium positioning. All models come with LED lighting, a distinctive front-end design and sleek body lines. The Long Range trim features 20-inch alloy wheels, while the Performance and Launch Edition models upgrade to 21-inch wheels for a sportier stance.
The Launch Edition further enhances the look with subtle styling updates and sits slightly lower thanks to its adaptive suspension. Flush-fitting door handles and a coupe-like roofline add to the IM6’s aerodynamic look.
The MG IM6 features a clean and spacious cabin with a premium feel across the range. At the centre is a 26.3-inch widescreen display that blends the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system into one unit.
