Synergy Car Leasing attended the 2025 Global Football Industry Awards, where Harrogate Town AFC’s Kick Back Scheme was shortlisted for Grassroots Initiative of the Year.
The scheme was recognised for making football more accessible to young players while supporting grassroots clubs with fundraising opportunities. While we didn’t take home the award, it was great to see a local initiative recognised alongside global brands including Nike, Barclays and McDonald’s.
It was a chance to reflect on the growing impact of the Kick Back Scheme and our continued support for Harrogate Town AFC. In 2025 we saw over £2,000 raised through the scheme, with cashback on additional ticket sales reinvested into things like training kit, equipment and pitch hire.
This year’s success was only possible through the efforts of Harrogate Town and the enthusiasm of families and fans across our local community.
