RENAULT GRAND SCENIC CAR LEASING
It’s fair to say that it can sometimes be a bit tricky to find an attractive looking 7-seater MPV, but the Renault Grand Scenic lease is definitely one of the most distinctive and elegantly styled vehicles in this category. This car is really the successor to the famous Renault Espace, a car that was a huge hit with families across Europe in the 1990’s. It first arrived back in 2003, but the car we present to you today is the 4th generation of Renault Grand Scenic lease deals, a car that has been offered by Renault since 2016.
Of course, there’s a difference between the Renault Scenic and Renault Grand Scenic car lease deals, and, as the name suggests, that is basically just the size. A Renault Scenic has seating for 5, but the Renault Grand Scenic is slightly longer, so can accommodate 7 seats. With all 7 seats filled, boot space is very small, but when running in a 5 seater mode, you can enjoy 596-litres of boot space, making this also a good choice for families who don’t need 7 seats, but require a lot of luggage space. It’s one of the many reasons that the Renault Grand Scenic has proven so popular with families.
Plenty of praise has been aimed at the Renault Grand Scenic for its handling characteristics too, an unusual point of note in a car of this class, but one that keen drivers will appreciate. That being said, performance is not the aim of the game here, and the engines are very much geared towards efficiency over overall pace. A 1.2-litre turbo petrol kicks off the engine line-up, with two power outputs – 114 or 128bhp. For diesel power, a 1.5-litre with 109bhp and a 1.6-litre with 128bhp are available, both turbocharged. If you’re one of our customers who would prefer to have an automatic gearbox, then we would recommend the slightly more powerful version of the 1.6-litre litre diesel. It has a power output of 158bhp, which is certainly noticeable out on the road.
Inside the Renault Grand Scenic you’ll find a very distinctive dashboard design with a portrait-orientated infotainment system the focal point. In Dynamique Nav trimmed cars, the screen is a larger size and features Renault’s R-Link 2 system with 3D maps and TomTom Live traffic updates. Thanks to its large dimensions, there’s plenty of head and leg room here for passengers across the vehicle.
